Last Bit of information for the New York trip!


High School Band students and parents-- tomorrow we head out to the Big Apple. For those of you staying behind, keep an eye on this website for updates on what we are doing!

Here's a few things to keep in mind as you pack your bags tonight:

1. Please limit your packing to one suitcase and one small carry on per person.

2. Students need to have their concert outfits for our performance on Wednesday only.

3. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather in New York. We will be outside for significant parts of the trip.

4. Please try to dress up for Broadway shows; however, whatever you choose to wear will need to be worn for the entire day-- make sure it is comfortable.

5. If students wish to change their clothes from Friday to Saturday, they need to bring them on their carry on bag. There will be no access to your suitcase until we get to the hotel on Saturday evening.

6. Medications should be given to your assigned chaperone.

7. For the duration of the trip, students should always stay within 15 feet of their assigned chaperone.

8. If you have not done so, please sign up for Remind here. This is how we will send announcements and communicate with the group during the trip.

Here is an itinerary for our trip departure on Friday:

2:00 pm Choir students meeting for rehearsal

3:00 pm Band students arrive, begin moving band equipment to sidewalk.

3:00 pm Pass out luggage tags. Begin loading luggage on trailer.

3:30 pm Buses arrive. Load band equipment on buses.

3:35 pm Truck driver meeting in band room.

3:50 pm Gather for large group picture in front of new trailer.

3:55 pm Get on buses.

4:00 pm Depart.
