Congratulations to Julianne Lawmaster (flute), and Joshua Szpakowski (Tuba)! Both students auditioned for the South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestra and made it into the top group for the 2018-2019 season.
The SBYSO is the premiere orchestral experience for young musicians throughout the Michiana region. This year, the SBYSO will be the first youth symphony in the world to perform the original scores to The Lord of the Rings; The Two Towers and Return of the King. In addition, the students will have the honor of performing with Chicago Symphony Orchestra clarinetist, John Bruce Yeh.
